How to take care of your hearing in the fall?
The first threat we will encounter in late September is a noticeable drop in temperature. It is assumed that during this period the temperature ranges from 5 to 15 degrees Celsius. Due to the high pressure differences in the atmosphere, we are more likely to be exposed to cold winds. Wear a hat, headband or wide scarf to prevent ear infections.
Frequent changes in temperature and humidity occurring at this time of year are also not our ally. In autumn, the heating season begins in Poland. Frosty air outside and dry air inside, not only provides viruses with a full field for action, but also affects the degree of liquefaction of earwax and, as a result, its drying out. Overheating of the body has the same effect, where through poor hydration we secrete less sweat, which in turn leads to thickening of ear wax, its accumulation and formation of wax plugs. So let's remember about more frequent and more thorough ear hygiene.
The change of season in addition to new, amazing visual effects, such as multicolored leaves, also provides us with other, often unpleasant, sounds. One example would be the blower for those leaves. Some of the models make very loud and unpleasant sounds that can lead to the deterioration of our hearing. Don't underestimate the danger of this and use suitable earplugs when gardening.
